This set not only includes some of the main characters from the show, but also features a massive and intimidating snake-like creature known as The Great Devourer. After purchasing and building this set, I have put together a buying guide to help other fans make an informed decision.
What is included in the set?
The ‘Lego Ninjago The Great Devourer Set’ comes with 6 minifigures – Lloyd Garmadon, Sensei Wu, Pythor P. Chumsworth, Jay ZX, Fangtom and Fangdam. It also includes 4 vehicles – Destiny’s Bounty ship, Ultra Sonic Raider vehicle, Rattlecopter vehicle and a small vehicle for Sensei Wu. Additionally, the set features The Great Devourer itself which consists of over 900 pieces.
What are the key features of this set?
One of the main highlights of this set is definitely The Great Devourer itself. It is a massive serpent-like creature with poseable joints and an opening mouth filled with sharp teeth. It also has flick-fire missiles attached to its tail for added playability. Another notable feature is the Destiny’s Bounty ship which has a detailed interior and can be split into three separate sections for different play scenarios.
How challenging is it to build?

With over 900 pieces, it took me approximately 4 hours to complete building The Great Devourer alone.
